One Planet Pizza – Review

All the way back in August, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway by LDN Vegans and One Planet pizza.  LDN Vegans is an awesome vegan youtube channel by Polly and Phil, with vegan news, interviews, activism and of course FOOD! I love their channel, make sure you check it out here!IMG_5795.jpgI was very lucky to win an Exotic Funghi Feast and a Hawaiian! These delicious hand made pizzas were the first of their kind in the UK and have won multiple awards so you don’t have to just take my word for it.

So being the first frozen vegan pizza in the UK…you obviously have to keep them in the freezer. However, this is me we’re talking about and my life never goes to plan. These pizzas arrived the one week our freezer was broken so I had to have them within 2 days, it’s a hard life 😉img_5793.jpgScreen Shot 2018-10-19 at 14.53.04.pngI absolutely loved the fact recycled materials were used for the postage and we were able to use them again, which was wonderful. I wish more big companies would try and do the same. My boyfriend has had to buy some furniture from IKEA recently and the amount of plastic that can’t be recycled it’s packaged in is just crazy. Also, it’s so amazing how this whole business was crowdfunded and made possible by the vegan community (and veggies/flexitarians)IMG_5803.JPGFirst, I had the Hawaiian. Truthfully, I really don’t like Hawaiian pizza and I was a little disappointed when I realised that’s what I had won. Not a believer of pineapple on pizza. HOWEVER, I really liked this pizza. I don’t know how or why but I did, the only Hawaiian I’ve ever enjoyed. So even if you don’t like Hawaiian pizza, you should definitely give this one a try. The cheese is so tasty honestly, writing this post is making me want one so bad!IMG_5842.JPGThe next day I had the Funghi Feast, which of course was delicious. I just love the Sheese that’s used on this pizza and the dough is so lovely, you can really tell it’s hand made. This is definitely what makes all the One Planet pizzas taste better than other frozen brands in my opinion, you can tell each one has been made with love.

This post wasn’t sponsored in any way and the opinions are all my own. I was lucky enough to win 2 free pizzas and now I’m left wanting more 😉 If you haven’t yet tried a One Planet pizza, make sure you do so! They’re available in most health/vegan food stores. Also make sure you go check out LDN Vegans. A huge thank you to both of them for my super yummy pizza ❤

Wow, two food post in a row. If you like these posts, make sure to check out my vegan food instagram justaplanteater for all my eats as a vegan student, and of course my blog instagram if you haven’t already justakidd_blog 😉

  1. Despite always hating the idea of Hawaiian pizza, I reckon I’d be willing to try a vegan one! The mushroom one looks amaaazing though. Glad you liked them

  2. These sound and look great… just wish someone like Tesco took them on, rather than the boring FreeFrom ones they sell now or the new LindaMc ones that aren’t even vegan because of the cheese…
